Okay, so who doesn't love sweets? Nothing better than going to a party, wedding or some other special event and having a "spread" of sweet treats to enjoy! I know I look forward to it! It doesn't matter if it's a feast of pastries or candy, everybody lines up for their share.
The photo is a "sweet table" I designed for my niece's wedding. It was enjoyed by all and totally finished before the evening got underway. The containers were continually refilled then immediately emptied right after. The colours were reflective of the Thanksgiving theme of the wedding (notice the pumpkins), so the oranges, browns and golds were incorporated.
Whoopee! The weather is changing, it's getting cooler. Now is the time for something sweet like a cupcake, a hot croissant with butter or jam, a slice of delicious cake, bread pudding, coconut tart or apple pie; the list can go on and on. Whatever you get, top it off with a hot cup of tea! There is nothing like it to warm you and make you feel good all over! Enjoy!
